Tidy Your Application Drawer with CCSWE App Manager

You may remember we recently brought you news of an application to allow you to remove the unwanted and superfluous camera and messenger icons forced upon Facebook users in a recent update. You may also remember that even more recently we brought you news that Facebook realized the problem and undid their fail, which obviously left that particular app redundant. Well, that’s not entirely true.

XDA Senior Member machx0r, the developer of the aforementioned app, decided to craft another version that allows you to remove any icon from your app drawer. While many of us running Android 4.0 can already disable stock system applications using the stock launcher, now anyone running a lower version of Android can now at least remove the icons of unwanted apps.

The application requires root access, and runs on Android 1.6 and newer. So if you want to give your app drawer some spring cleaning, head over to the application thread.
